Maybe you want to give your fiance the most unique gift on your wedding day that will make their jaw drop.
Maybe you’ve accomplished a milestone in your goal to achieve your perfect body. Even if you’re not quite there yet, you damn well know you’re at a point where you deserve to celebrate.
Or maybe you just want to feel f*cking awesome and create something so personal and beautiful that when you’re 80 years old you’ll look back at your photos and say “Damn, that was me”. You can’t buy that in a store.
The reasons are endless, and I bet so are the excuses going on in your head right now as to why you should hold off and wait. I’ll guess at least one or more of these is holding you back:
I’m not a model, I don’t know how to pose!
I don’t want to brag, but please trust me when I say you’re in amazing hands. Almost none of my clients have ever even been in front of a professional camera before, much less in a strange environment while completely opening their most intimate selves to a stranger. I got you! I’ll tell you exactly how to position your body for the most flattering poses for your body type and you’ll be rockin the camera in no time at all.
It’s totally normal for people to take 10-15 minutes to warm up, even I feel awkward at first when having my photo taken.
I still want to lose X pounds, no way I’m ready!
Literally every single woman I work with says something about her arms, or her tummy, or tells me to photoshop this or that. And every single woman leaves a happy client because it’s not just about how you look, but how you feel during this experience. With the right posing, lighting, and some little touch ups after the session you won’t believe how irrelevant those last 10 or 20 pounds will be.
I don’t want my photos on the internet
Unless you sign a model release form for us to use your images, they will never be published anywhere. We respect your privacy and would never break that promise.
I don’t feel comfortable posing with my body so exposed
That’s not what boudoir is about! Obviously we want to showcase your most beautiful and sexy side, but that doesn’t have to mean wearing something you’re not comfortable in. You can do booty shorts, your fiance’s button down shirt, or a simple sweater that slides down your shoulder.
Ok but it’s still out of my comfort zone to do this in front of a stranger with a camera whom I don’t know
Totally understandable, and I think the majority of people would agree with you. That’s why I place such a huge emphasis on getting to know you, your motivation for doing this in the first place, and simply getting acquainted long before your session even takes place. It’s my priority to make sure you feel comfortable and know that you’re in a judgment free zone. We’re in this together to create a beautiful piece of art you’ll cherish forever, and along with that come the fun and positive memories of the session experience as well.
We’ll go over your goals with regards to the style of your session, your comfort level with different poses and wardrobes, and more so I have a better idea of who you really are.
Just for some extra peace of mind don’t hesitate to Google my name for countless reviews around the web that are nothing shy of 5 stars and positive feedback not only about the quality of work, but also personality and quality of service.
Save yourself the feeling of regret when you think about why you didn’t do this 20 years from now.
You already know there will have to come a time when you just say “Ok, I can do this”. And just like with everything else we accomplish in life, we never quite feel ready for it.
Boudoir is about today. You deserve it.
