Becky and Scott visited New York City from the UK and thanks to super helpful Claire Ady who runs WedInCentralPark and is amazing at helping you plan your destination wedding in Central Park. Becky and Scott were able to have their special day organized and taken care of totally stress free!
Since Scott proposed to Becky at the Ladies Pavilion they were super excited to have their destination wedding in Central Park. They were even fortunate enough to have almost 50 guests fly in from the UK to attend their elopement in Central Park! Here are some of the photos from their Central Park Elopement at the Ladies Pavilion.
Other than photography coverage their WedinCentralPark package included a videographer (Jay Treble), violinist Angela, and Larissa as their officiant to marry them.
Their New York City destination wedding in Central Park was off to a rainy start but luckily it was a wedding at Ladies Pavilion which gave them some cover, although all the guests around were stuck under umbrellas during the ceremony. As soon as the Central Park wedding ceremony finished up it stopped raining which was perfect timing! Immediately after the ceremony we started to take the formal family photos under the Ladies Pavilion and around the nearby lake. We had some beautiful fall foliage colors this time of year and the cloudy day gave us perfect even lighting so no one was squinting from any harsh sunlight.
Once we wrapped up with group photos with the family and bridal party it was time for Scott and Becky’s bride and groom photo session in Central Park after their elopement. We headed out to take their wedding photos throughout all the beautiful areas off the beaten path in Central Park that are a bit unknown to tourists. Since the weather wasn’t the best just a bit earlier, it also helped to clear out the regular crowds.
