So excited to showcase this stunning gallery of Angela and Greg’s luxurious black tie elopement in Central Park.
Arriving to their Central Park elopement in style, Angela and Greg opted for the classic yellow checker cab on their wedding day, supplied by Film Cars NYC. With a quick walk over to their ceremony location in Central Park – A Treehouse For Dreaming – Dene Summerhouse.
They were met with their small group of friends and family waiting at the top under the gazebo, backlit by gorgeous sunlight with the NYC skyline peeking out between the trees in the distance behind them.
Following the ceremony we photographed some formal family photos and continued north around the east side of the park, passing through Conservatory Water where kids are usually playing with RC sailboats available to rent in Central Park.
Together we also stopped by the hill close to the Balto Statue in Central Park, where once again the skyline peeked out between the trees in the background along with the slowly setting sun.
Before leaving the park, our last stop was around the reservoir, where the light was getting a little crazy so I opted to create something more dramatic. The setting sun behind the skyline together with my own lighting set up allowed me to create a beautiful city skyline silhouette while putting Angela and Greg in the spotlight.
Finally we jumped back in the Film Cars NYC checker cab and headed further north towards the Metropolitan Museum of Art where we took some photos of Angela and Greg around the manicured walkway and staircase, showcasing a bit of the museum’s beautiful architecture. It was not so busy this day, so museum security was nice to allow us to use the top of the stairs for a quick photo opportunity.
This black tie elopement in Central Park ended with some street shots using the yellow NYC checker cab as a prop, of course ending with a classic yellow cab kissing shot on their wedding day.
