Eloping in NYC has become a very common trend for couples – whether you live in NYC or are visiting from abroad. Stephanie and Jack that live in Ireland decided to elope in NYC because it was a way to combine a fun vacation while tying the knot. With the help of Claire from Wed in Central Park they had an amazing ceremony in Central Park officiated by Larissa from Weddings by Larissa.
Their day started by getting ready at Lotte New York Palace, one of my favorite hotels in NYC that makes a great wedding day getting ready location and has tons of photo ops in the lobby and their courtyard just across from the infamous St. Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th Ave.
After we got some wedding photos at Lotte New York Palace, we continued to Central Park for their ceremony. It was an incredibly hot day and we all appreciated the little bit of shade we had under the Ladie’s Pavillion where Stephanie and Jack’s ceremony was taking place. Soon as they were pronounced husband and wife, we started taking more wedding day portraits in Central Park. A short walk away from Ladies Pavillion is Bethesda Fountain and Bethesda Terrace – both great spots for wedding photos.
Once we wrapped up they went off to celebrate as a newly married couple!
