Edyta and Daniel’s wedding was a celebration that beautifully combined the modern flair of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with timeless wedding traditions. From a stunning start at The William Vale Hotel to a vibrant reception at Giando’s On The Water, their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
The day began with Edyta getting ready at the chic William Vale Hotel, a location that offers unparalleled views of the NYC skyline. Her wedding dress, elegantly displayed on a mannequin, was photographed on the hotel balcony with the cityscape as a breathtaking backdrop. A special moment was captured when the maid of honor's daughter, the flower girl, stole the show as she posed beside the dress, adding a touch of sweetness to the morning preparations. With the help of her bridesmaids and mother, Edyta donned her gown and jewelry, and we captured the joy and excitement in a series of beautiful bridal portraits on the balcony and in her room.
While Edyta was preparing at the hotel, Daniel was getting ready at home with his groomsmen. Their camaraderie was evident as they stepped outside for a fun, Abbey Road-inspired photo session, crossing the street in a nod to the iconic Beatles image. It was a great way to capture the bond between Daniel and his groomsmen before the formalities began.
The couple's first look at each other happened at the church, a moment filled with emotion as Edyta walked down the aisle with her father. The ceremony had a delightful twist with the ring bearer, a toddler, riding down the aisle in a remote-controlled Mercedes car, much to the delight of the guests.
After the ceremony, we embarked on a portrait session around Williamsburg, where Edyta and Daniel's red convertible Mercedes added a splash of color against the backdrop of modern architecture and lush landscaping. The session was a perfect mix of elegance and contemporary style, reflecting the couple’s personalities.
A fun and unique stop during the day was at Joe’s Pizza on Bedford Ave, where the entire bridal party grabbed a few slices and took some playful photos. It was a great way to capture the laid-back and joyful vibe of the day, adding a touch of Williamsburg’s local flavor to their wedding memories.
The celebration then moved to Giando’s On The Water, a stunning venue situated on the East River, offering breathtaking views of Manhattan. The Williamsburg Bridge, just a stone's throw away, provided a dramatic backdrop for more portraits of the couple. Inside the reception room, we captured the beauty of the setting sun streaming through the windows, illuminating the elegant centerpieces of white and pink roses and casting a golden glow over the candlelit tables.
Before the guests arrived, Edyta and Daniel took a quiet moment in their reception room, allowing us to photograph them among the beautifully set tables. It was a serene and intimate moment before the night’s festivities kicked off.
The reception was a lively affair, with the Simone Band NY—a Polish-American live band—keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed. The night culminated in an epic cake cutting of a three-layer cake, followed by night shots outside Giando’s with the NYC skyline lit up behind them, bringing their magical day to a perfect close.
Edyta and Daniel’s wedding was a stunning blend of modern style, timeless tradition, and the vibrant energy of Williamsburg. It was an honor to capture the love and joy of their special day, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
