Jakub, Jakub, Jakub… where do I even begin!?
Well, if you’re here, you’ve already noticed his amazing eye for detail and unique, beautiful perspective when framing a shot. But when you hire Jakub, you’re not just getting an amazing photographer, you’re getting a fantastic partner in what will undoubtedly be the most stressful time in your life.
Jakub makes himself available in the months (yes, months, because I’m crazy anxious), weeks, and days leading up to your big day, and then acts as the calm, but necessary leader on the day itself.
Jakub helped me shape my wedding timeline and never got frustrated at my silly questions or small tweaks — all really huge for me, as I had NO clue what I was doing at any point in this process, but still planned it all myself, ha!
I worked with Jakub first for my engagement session, and we loved the photos so much that we went out a second time with our pups. Both sessions were beautiful and unique because Jakub put in 120% for every minute we spent with him.
He’s intuitive and unafraid, willing to get his hands dirty, move furniture, sit in puddles, and wrangle dogs to get the perfect shot — which is especially impressive when every shot is perfect.
For someone like me, who is super awkward in front of a camera, Jakub will guide you in how to stand, what to do with your hands, and how to make you look happy and relaxed even when you’re a big ball of nerves. Our third and final session was for my wedding on July 1 2019, and it was just as fantastic as the ones before it.
He is an amazing photographer with a real gift, and he blended in seamlessly with my friends and family on the big day.
Jakub is also funny, and kind, and just someone you’d love to grab a beer with and chat, which is always a nice bonus. Each session was a wonderful experience with an amazing photographer and now I’m just trying to figure out how I can get married every month for the next 100 years so I can work with him in perpetuity.

Jakub is an incredible photographer and human being. He photographed our Central Park wedding and we are so very happy and grateful that we had him.
First of all, our arrival at the photo session was delayed due to traffic and Jakub was so patient and kind to wait for around 20 minutes for us to arrive. He even told me not to worry and not to feel stressed which was kind of him given the significant delay.
Jakub is very talented and he really knows how to capture great photos and moments. All the photos from our photoshoot were absolutely beautiful; we were so very comfortable and the photos look very natural.
Following the photoshoot we headed to the ceremony and also there Jakub managed to capture incredible shots showing every single detail in our ceremony. He gave us a perfect gallery in a short period of time and before that he gave us a preview which we thought was great of him.
In summary, we highly recommend Jakub as a wedding photographer (and a photographer for any occasion really!).

Jakub was super friendly and patient whilst photographing our wedding. His shots were just incredible. Our wedding planner arranged for Jakub to shoot our wedding.
From the moment he arrived at our hotel on the morning of the wedding, he was just so professional and nice, it didn’t even feel like we were meeting him for the first time as we were coming from Ireland.
We received our complete wedding collection less than a week after the wedding itself which was amazing; usually people are waiting months for their wedding photos and since we eloped without telling anyone we really wanted to show everyone back home our photos as soon as possible.
The collection just blew our mind. The quality of the shots were like nothing we’ve ever seen before.
Every single person we shared our photos with were astounded; I don’t know how many people told us the photos were by far the best wedding photos they ever seen. The photos were beautiful, elegant, vibrant, romantic, like something out of a magazine.
Jakub really captured our special day so perfectly and now we have a wonderful collection of photos which tells our beautiful story and that we will always cherish.

Jakub himself was such a nice guy. He really put us at ease on the day. I’m quite a shy person and was camera shy to begin with but before long the nerves disappeared, the confidence increased and I felt totally comfortable. Jakub really put me at ease and made me feel more extroverted during our session with him.
Jakub was really helpful and carried some of our possessions during the photo session. He covered all his bases with the photos and got multiple shots from every possible angle.
It was New York’s hottest day of the year, like 100°F +, and our ceremony was outside. Jakub wore pants without complaint which was insane and when we asked why he wasn’t in something cooler, he said he wanted to be dressed appropriately for the wedding which just sums up how nice a guy he is and is a testament to his professionalism.
Not that we would have minded in the slightest had he been in shorts; my husband himself would have been in shorts had he known it would be that hot! He was just a really cool guy and the best at what he does so it’s a win, win!

We truly had a wonderful time working with Jakub during our wedding. From beginning to end, Jakub was extremely fun, professional, and flexible making our special day an unforgettable experience. My wife Keri is also a professional photographer and knew exactly the type of high caliber photography she wanted for our wedding. After searching meticulously through various photographers, she knew Jakub was the one.
Jakub arrived early on our wedding day and his high energy and level of attention to detail remained constant throughout the entire day. We had a military wedding that required some extra protocol and events in which Jakub easily catered to. Not only is Jakub great at photographing the formal wedding shots but he also has the distinctive eye to capture the spontaneous and fun moments we look back on and can’t help but to smile. One area of his photography we love is his expertise in flash photography. We had our wedding ceremony in a very large, 100+ year old church with limited lighting and Jakub really made the church come alive through his work.
For those of you who are looking for a photographer, I hope you never have to experience someone who is slow to reply or even worse, someone who backs out. The professionalism in Jakub really shines with his responsiveness and punctuality. These traits may seem miniscule up front but will weigh in heavily as you get closer to your wedding day and especially the day of. You can plan all you want for your wedding but be prepared to go off script, because it will happen. This is where Jakub is cool as a cucumber reminding you to have fun while going with the flow to make every moment, planned or unplanned, another opportunity to create something beautiful for you. We highly recommend Jakub to everyone.

Jakub and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. The photos came out so beautifully we could not believe it.
He was easy to work with, attentive to what we wanted, professional, and clearly knew just what to do to get the best shots out of us on a day when we had so much on our minds.

We had Jakub as our photographer for our wedding at the Chauncey Hotel in Princeton, NJ in April 2019.
Jakub was very responsive, available, helpful, fun and comfortable from the beginning.
We booked him about 10 months out, and he checked in periodically to see how we were doing, and to help us build the plan for our big day.
He started out with an easy phone call with us to learn more about us, and what we were looking for. He provided a ton of advice and comfort throughout what could be a really stressful process – he ended up creating our day-of schedule that our family and wedding party could follow which made it super easy for us.
He arrived early on wedding day, and took getting ready photos, set up our first look, and then took all of the couple, family, and wedding party photos before the wedding started (at our request) so we could enjoy all parts of the wedding.
He instructed us the whole time, and made us feel comfortable even though my (now) husband and I didn’t love being in the spotlight and in front of the cameras.
He ended up staying longer than scheduled to ensure he captured all of the fun. We then received all 600 (!!) pictures of the wedding only THREE days after our wedding day.

We had the pleasure of working with Jakub on our wedding day and he was just fabulous on every level!
We had travelled to NY from the UK for a destination wedding and our planner had put us in touch with him. We had booked a particularly lengthy session with him too so we were taking quite a risk. It was the best risk we have ever taken and so worth the time and money we invested in Jakub’s skills. His ‘eye’ for detail and what makes a great photograph is just amazing! He sees opportunities for great shots wherever you are, whatever the weather (we had rain pretty much all day – but from the photos and the smiles on our faces, you would never know that it was such a grey day).
His knowledge of our chosen NY locations was great (which really helped us) and he adapted to the weather conditions on the day by not only making other destination suggestions but also by making the most of the weather we had. He also accommodated our request for some extra time as we felt we’d like additional shots of our family.
Despite being soaked through, he did not complain once. We loved his spontaneous ideas too – he took photographs we’d never even thought of but absolutely love. I never thought we’d find a photography session so enjoyable!
The photographs were available to view just 5 days after our wedding and they have surpassed all of our expectations. The quality is excellent and he has really captured the ‘feel’ of our day and us as a couple. We have no regrets and would definitely recommend Jakub to our friends and family.
