Nicole and Krzysztof's engagement session in Dumbo, Brooklyn, was nothing short of spectacular, offering both iconic backdrops and intimate moments that perfectly represented their love story. We started at sunrise on Brooklyn Bridge, a time I often recommend to couples for its golden light and the peaceful atmosphere free from crowds. This made it possible to capture the bridge’s beauty and the couple's chemistry with ease. Nicole’s choice of a white dress and heels paired with a custom embroidered jean jacket reading "Mrs. Jakubowicz" added a personalized and stylish touch to the morning.
After completing our sunrise photos on Brooklyn Bridge, we made our way to one of the most famous streets in Dumbo, located near the intersection of Water St and Washington St. This cobblestone street, with its perfect view of the Manhattan Bridge framing the Empire State Building in one of the bridge tower openings, provided an unforgettable setting for the session. To make these shots even more unique, Nicole and Krzysztof brought along their black Mercedes G550, which we creatively positioned in the middle of the street. Not only did the luxury vehicle photograph beautifully and reflect the couple's elegant vibe, but it also served as a practical barrier, blocking the view of passing vehicles and crowds for a clean, focused shot.
Our session continued in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where the couple posed against the NYC skyline. The sunlit reflections off the water and cityscape provided a breathtaking backdrop, resulting in images that were magazine cover-worthy. The blend of iconic New York scenery and the couple’s unique, luxury-infused style created a collection of photos that truly captured Nicole and Krzysztof's personalities and love.
