Tamaja and Damian celebrated their beautiful wedding at the East Wind Long Island in Wading River, NY, and it was an unforgettable day filled with love and joy. The day began with Damian getting ready at The Inn And Spa At East Wind, a charming hotel connected to the wedding venue. Despite the room's cozy size, it offered just enough space and excellent window lighting for capturing Damian’s final preparations. His best man, Jakub, played a key role in helping straighten out Damian’s tie and jacket, ensuring he looked his best. After some intimate indoor shots, we stepped outside for more portraits of Damian and his groomsmen, using his stunning white convertible Rolls Royce with its striking red leather interior as a backdrop. The vibrant colors really made the photos pop.
Next, I made my way to a nearby Airbnb where Tamaja and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The house provided a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for capturing the finishing touches of Tamaja's hair and makeup. We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings by hanging her wedding dress outside, allowing for some stunning shots of Tamaja in her white silk robe, which had "Bride" embroidered on the back, and her adorable fuzzy white slippers.
As the ceremony time approached, we returned to East Wind Long Island, where the ceremony took place in the Vineyard at East Wind. The setting was nothing short of magical, with rows of grapevines creating a natural aisle leading up to the arch where Tamaja and Damian exchanged their vows. Their bridal party stood beside them, and the intimate group of 60 guests watched as the couple sealed their vows with a kiss before joyfully walking back down the aisle as husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, we quickly moved on to formal family photos before diving into the couple's portrait session around the estate. The property provided a breathtaking backdrop for their photos, including more shots with the convertible Rolls Royce. One of the standout moments was capturing the couple from above, with the car's roof open, the vineyard stretching out before them, and the red seats contrasting beautifully with the green vines and their white and beige outfits. It was a unique and memorable shot that perfectly encapsulated the day’s elegance.
The reception was a lively celebration held at East Wind Long Island, where the couple and their guests danced the night away. The bride's father gave an emotional toast that resonated deeply with everyone, particularly with Tamaja and Damian as they reflected on the new family they were building, with their baby already part of their lives.
As the night wore on, the couple cut their wedding cake, and we ended the evening with some final night photos in front of the venue and in the vineyard, which was softly illuminated by string lights. These night shots offered a different perspective, showcasing the venue’s charm under the evening sky. After saying my goodbyes, I left the couple to continue celebrating with their loved ones, knowing they had a lifetime of happiness ahead of them.
