Some weddings are not just a celebration of love but a beautiful blend of personal history, rustic charm, and unforgettable experiences. Samantha and Kamil's wedding was exactly that—a weekend-long affair filled with glamping, family traditions, and a deep connection to the land they call home.
The celebration began at Gilbertsville Farmhouse in Bainbridge, NY, where Samantha and Kamil, along with their bridal party, spent the weekend glamping in luxurious outdoor tents. With a fire pit at the center, the night before the wedding was filled with laughter, stories, and a rehearsal dinner under the stars, setting the perfect tone for the day to come.
On the morning of the wedding, Kamil and his groomsmen got ready in their glamping cabin, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Meanwhile, Samantha prepared for the big day in a nearby bridal suite that offered stunning views of a serene lake. With her bridesmaids and mother by her side, the morning was a mix of excitement and heartfelt moments, all leading up to the moment she would say "I do."
The couple then drove to their own farm, Greenbriar Farm, where the ceremony would take place. This was more than just a wedding venue—it was a place of deep personal significance. Samantha runs an equestrian business on the farm, and the ceremony location was nestled within this beloved space, surrounded by the horses that are such an integral part of their lives. The indoor track with its rustic charm provided a perfect backdrop for their vows.
After a touching ceremony, we took the opportunity to capture the beauty of the farm with photos of the couple, their bridal party, and, of course, their horses. The connection between Samantha and Kamil and the land they love was evident in every shot, making the images truly special.
The celebration continued back at Gilbertsville Farmhouse, where guests were treated to a cocktail hour and reception in a beautifully decorated barn-like room. String lights twinkled overhead, casting a warm glow over the festivities. One of the most touching moments was the special seat set up in memory of Samantha's father, with his Harley Davidson jacket draped over it—a heartfelt tribute to a man who was clearly loved and missed.
As the night unfolded, Samantha and Kamil took to the dance floor for their first dance, a magical moment that had everyone captivated. The party soon followed, with guests dancing the night away. But the evening had a few more surprises in store—like the appearance of the "Beer Burro," a delightful donkey carrying baskets of beer, adding a fun and quirky twist to the celebration.
As the night drew to a close, Samantha and Kamil made their grand exit under a canopy of sparklers, surrounded by their loved ones. It was a perfect end to a day that was as much about celebrating their love as it was about honoring their roots and the life they’ve built together.
