Kennedy and David's wedding at the Seashell Resort and Beach Club in Long Beach Island, NJ, was a perfect blend of tropical vibes and personal touches. Their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Jersey Shore.
The day began at a stunning nautical-themed Airbnb located on Long Beach Blvd. The house was spacious, offering the perfect setting for both the bride and groom to get ready. Kennedy and her bridesmaids took over the bright, naturally lit downstairs, creating an ideal atmosphere for bridal portraits and getting ready photos. The light streaming in from the large windows highlighted the beautiful details of Kennedy's dress, hair, and makeup. One particularly touching moment was when Kennedy’s father, Keith, saw his daughter for the first time that day, his emotional expression captured in a series of heartfelt photos.
Upstairs, David and his groomsmen were getting ready in a man cave that provided the perfect space for the guys to relax and have fun before the ceremony. Dressed in matching beige suits, David and his groomsmen enjoyed some downtime with beers and a friendly game of pool, adding a laid-back and fun vibe to the morning’s preparations.
The couple’s first look took place on a pier extending from the back of the Airbnb, offering a serene and intimate setting with the water gently lapping below. This moment was full of anticipation and emotion as Kennedy and David saw each other for the first time, surrounded by the natural beauty of Long Beach Island. We took the opportunity to capture more portraits of the bridal party around the house, making the most of the unique and picturesque location.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Seashell Resort and Beach Club, an outdoor venue that surprised guests with its tropical ambiance, complete with palm trees and sandy beaches—an unexpected delight in New Jersey. The ceremony space was beautifully arranged, with white chairs lining either side of the aisle, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The tropical setting was a perfect match for the couple’s beachy, relaxed vibe.
Adding a deeply personal touch to the ceremony, Kennedy’s father, Keith, served as the officiant. His heartfelt words and intimate knowledge of the couple made the ceremony especially memorable, as he guided them through their vows with love and warmth.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued inside the Seashell Resort’s reception area, where Kennedy and David danced the night away surrounded by their closest family and friends. The night was filled with joy, music, and dancing, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
As the evening drew to a close, we slipped away for some final night shots of the couple in front of a fire pit, capturing the warmth and romance of the day’s end. The glow of the fire, combined with the cool night air and the couple’s radiant smiles, made for the perfect ending to a perfect day.
