Weddings are a time for love, joy, and tradition, and Marabelle and Nigel's wedding was a beautiful blend of all three. Their celebration was not just a union of two hearts but a vibrant display of Haitian culture, elegance, and family unity.
The day began with anticipation and excitement as Marabelle and Nigel prepared for their big day in their respective hotels. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, including their two beautiful daughters, the couple exchanged luxury gifts that spoke volumes about their love and commitment. Marabelle was gifted a stunning Cartier watch, a timeless piece symbolizing the elegance she embodies, while Nigel received a sleek Breitling watch, a token of the strength and precision that defines him.
Marabelle was a vision in her Hayley Paige dress, carefully selected from the renowned Bridal Reflections boutique. The dress, with its intricate details and flowing silhouette, perfectly complemented Marabelle's grace and beauty, setting the tone for the day ahead.
The couple's Catholic ceremony took place in St Martin of Tours Church in Amityville, NY on Long Island which was adorned with stunning white trees that lined the aisle, creating a magical, almost ethereal atmosphere. As Marabelle walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her, but it was Nigel's gaze that captured the true essence of the moment—pure love and admiration.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration moved to Bisou, a chic and sophisticated venue on Long Island. Thanks to the meticulous planning of Stacyann Barker, the space was transformed into a wonderland of romance and celebration. A custom white dance floor, emblazoned with Marabelle and Nigel's initials, became the centerpiece of the reception. The room glowed with pink and purple uplighting, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere that invited everyone to dance and celebrate.
DJ Big Reef took the party to the next level, spinning tunes that had guests on their feet all night long. The energy was infectious, and the love in the room was palpable. Marabelle and Nigel, along with their 15-member bridal party, led the charge, ensuring that this was a night to remember.
Marabelle and Nigel's wedding was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the power of love, family, and tradition. Surrounded by those who matter most, they created memories that will last a lifetime, not just for themselves but for everyone who had the privilege of witnessing their union.
As a photographer, it was an honor to capture the essence of their day—the love in their eyes, the joy in their hearts, and the energy that filled the room. Marabelle and Nigel's wedding was a true celebration of life and love, and I am grateful to have been a part of their incredible journey.
